great links

nice suggestions, maybe i am being too picky but not quite good enough.
i also tried www.google.com/reader and www.newsgator.com
problem is most of them offer little in the way of displaying the actual post or looking decent.
blog lines i guess is the best so far, but it looks terrible and displays all the postings crammed together making it hard to distingush easily between each post.

If you are using a Mac, Safari has a RSS reader built into it. I think Firefox does as well.

yeah, the Safari one is by far the best using one i have found. love it.

problem is im trying to find something thats webbased so that i can keep the same list between home and work and do not have to get double posts.
i am using intraVnews at home, which is a plug-in for outlook and its really sweet, but i want to get news during the day too - its too much to keep up with when i get home.

Ahhh I see, hence the web based.
Well for more Mac geekery, if you have a .Mac account, you can have the same RSS anywhere you use Safari - probably not what you are looking for though.

Sage is a good Firefox Plugin, but now that I'm reading what you need it wouldn't help.
Sorry.

google reader is great according to me, use it everyday and it does a decent job in displaying the content.
