how can you make icons on your desktop small and how can you setup or lock a default winow size/style (list, icons, browser) when opening your hard drive or other mounted drives?
small stuff like this is getting annoying and i can't find it in system prefs to change it.

you can change any default window size by opening whatever window, resizing it and closing it out immediately. if you highlight or open any files from the window, the size changes won't be saved.
