Sherman, seems they just put it in hot water? Then you get sand + water + oil, but seperated.

(Jan 24 06, 11:53)Yeah, but they need to use energy to heat the water that they use to seperate it.
So naturally in the oilsands they are probably using oil to produce the energy needed to get the oil out.

i change my oil in the yard. i just let the old stuff flow right out onto the ground. I'm making my own damn oil sand.

where's the leadership on conservation...
you would think bush could take a break from his daily 4 hours of excercise and tell his fat assed followers get out of their SUVs and start pedaling like him.

that's another good point. Does anyone really believe that Harper is going to use any federal funds to help develop green technology?
I think my balls might eat me before that happens.

Another excuse to prolong the use of pollution on wheels.

Don't worry JK. With George Bush III in the PMO it's already done.
I wouldn't be surprised if every American get's a cheque in the mail signed by Harper within a week.
See people, the oil sands are a perfect example of why we should never have "just given Harper a chance."
Man am I pissed off today.

Canada, coincidentally hold the world's largest supply of Flubber. Hybrid?

The Future is in coal and ZEPs (zero-emissions plants).

the scary thing is the amount of energy it takes to extract the oil from the sands and the amount of waste it produces.
ARghhh
