barcelona is a fucking ace place to live and work so a) people ask about working there on this forum a lot and b) it's really difficult to get work there because everyone wants work there.
unless you have a job lined up already, it'll be immensely difficult to go there and get one without spanish and catalan.

I'd say do a search, but NT's dB gets cut frequently. I'm too lazy and cannot remember enough about that city. Tough cookie to crack I would think though. From what I hear it's a high unemployment rate for even the natives.

dont wanna bore you again with same thread, but i dont hang out here every hour..
yep, i know bcn already very well coz i'm quite often there. my girl lives there. maybe i can get a job in my company network, but how's the salary? i've heard life its quite expensive and you dont earn that much. hmm just have to gauge things out, yknow..

so you're German, no problem with the work permit stuff.
I'd think it would come down to your level of expertise and quality of work. I wouldn't think a Spanish company is going to give a German a job over another Spanish individual and legally they might not be able to as well. That's usually the case in most countries. Unless you do it under the table so-to-speak.
Anyway, good luck.
