I think what TNDAP meant was the majority of which, in which case he's right. It's just a bunch of sissy ball hogs for the most part. That's the reason the Pistons and Spurs win, not just feed the ball to Shaq and watch him tear the league up.

(Jan 24 06, 10:17)shaqs dominated but i dont think he really ever tore the league up alone. Miami's not performing the way everyone though it would, dwayne wade is good but hes not a Kobe. also, the Laker team that took those championships were well rounded. granted they had shaq and kobe, but without horry and fisher they wouldnt have done as well.
i dont think he's a sissy ballhog neither. VC is though. ... He had so much promise in TO when first came into the league, but pussied out. pretty dissapointing

Shaq used to tear up the league bigtime. MVP, how many championships. You see what the Lakers look like since he left and how much Miami has improved. It's pretty evident.

(Jan 24 06, 10:21)I wasn't referring to Kobe persay, I mean the Lakers don't have much else going on right? But VC, AI, McGrady, etc. are.

look at orlando post penny hardway and La pre Kobe. i dont think shaq got very far.
shaq has wade now as well as some other role players. without the other players he hasnt done much. his numbers are dropping, hes getting old! hes pretty damn good but i dont think he falls into the category of game dominationg, i dont think hes good enough to just take the game on his shoulders and win. especially with his horrific free throw percentage

yeah but he wasn't as big and as smart as he is now and he couldn't shoot free throws bro

(Jan 24 06, 10:26)Penny averaged LESS points per game in Orlando after Shaq left. And look at him now. He was nothing without Shaq.
Those Orlando teams had Penny, Nick Anderson, Brian Shaw, Horace Grant, and Dennis Scott. Pfft, please.

haha. i do like shaq tho, he seems like a nice guy, needs to ditch the vests too...

there are lots more teams that play team ball, and those that do play team ball but have no superstar are in the celler , Kobe is in a league of his own ..
and its typical how quickly eveyone judges even though Kobe was never convicted of anything ...

(Jan 24 06, 10:33)you got me there man, id totally forgotten about those guys. but it still points to the fact that shaq needs role players

(Jan 24 06, 10:36)No doubt. I think one or two great players can take a team a long way, but they won't win a championship by themselves.
You can even question where the Bulls would have been without guys like Paxson and Kerr.

I have no problems with Shaq. He's not a sissy and crybaby like some of those primadonna's are. I'm serious though, if Kobe throws out his elbow at another player in retaliation, I would knock his block off if he is scoring that much in a given game. John Salley said the same.

Penny was a beast before his injury...to look at him now is unfair.
Kobe (not a fan, i'll stress once again), is a beast on the court. if MJ did 81, people would be praising him...ignore your feelings towards Kobe and admit what he did was up there with the best individual performances in sports history. And Kobe wasn't convicted of anything whats so ever, so let that rapist stuff end. thank you.

oh NOW he's sheepish?
didn't seem that way after he finished the game... he was talking about himself like he was saving babies from certain death or something.
