anyone using basecamp to manage their projects? any good?

yes its pretty good. we found it usefull at the start but slowly stopped using it. if you use this thgses types of things already basecamp will be good for you.

i found basecamp had too many features i don't use so it's not worth paying for. i now use http://www.sidejobtrack.com to manage my freelance work. it's basic, but it's got everything i need.

we're using basecamp, it's well worth having a go!
start with 'Personal' option, it's only 12$ a month - if you find it good swith to more expensive package - (there's a limit of active projects you can have)...

Does all kinds of tricks... Gives client access to all out contact info, Proofs etc.. Clients can also upload files and artwork up to about 100mb in size. There's a little blog for comments too.
