I always wanted some '97's but could never fit my fat foot in a narrow Nike

Air Max '87 are by far the best.
I had the Air Max '90....exactly the same as the photo.

those 360's are ugly, just like when they do the shocks all the way across the bottom.

my friend got an early release pair and said they're the most comfortable shoes she's ever ran in... apparently runners in product seeding have been flipping out on them

Those 90's in the blue ribbon versions are pretty nice. wonder if the chicago nike town will have em

every pair of Nike Airs - the air eventually fades out, sometime's th ebubble pops. good gimmick though

Within a reasonable time after the purchase of the shoe, if the bubble pops, you can return it to Nike and they'll give you a new pair, if it's not in stock they'll replace it with something similar.

it's recommended (not by Nike) to replace your running shoes every 6 months, max (I believe). Every kind of shoe will wear with continual running and it's better for your body to replace them. Whether it's engineered in or not, who knows, but it's a reasonable practice if you like to jog/run.
I've been running fairly regularly in my Shox (second generation, before they got all ugly) for almost 3 years now, and just in the last 6 months have they started to perform as bad as they look.
$150 well spent.Time to look for new ones, I just hate the way all those look. I ain't gonna pay $150+ for something ugly, regardless of how well it performs.
fyi, the Nike Shox are the best running shoes I've owned - and I've owned a ton.

Lovin' that Nike ID. No garish colors - great idea and it's actually cheaper (the Shox I spec'd) than the new ones.
You can even print the design. Great site and they really did a great job with it.
