According to the Help-files in Illustrator and this website: http://www.graphics.com/modules.…
you should be able to put perspective on a drawing, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Tried using a simple square, an image, etc. but nothing works.
Anyone know how to do perspective (not shear) in Illustrator? Or what the heck i'm doing wrong? All i get is a bounding box, where i can scale and rotate.
thx!

it's not great, but you can get a decent fake 2d perspecitve:

distort+transform>
free distortor is that what you already tried?

It should open a little box above your canvas so you can control the distort.
If its not doing that when you select the filter you may have a problem with your plugins.

with the transform tool. you have to start dragging first THEN hit your COMMAND + OPTION + SHIFT KEY , continue draggin.
orhit the COMMAND + SHIFT for a more rigid perspective.

Ebon, i think you're right. That little box above my canvas doesnt show. Will look into the plugin thingy, like you said. I'll use the Free distort-tip from blastofv. Thx!
