quicktime stutter

Is anyone experiencing a stuttering sound problem when viewing QT movies on XP?
I found this:

yes it started on mine recently and it is very annoying....I tried uninstallign and reloading....I tried a few things....
I dunno.....whats going on.....

I have the same problem, the video trips-up too.Very annoying.
I didnt want itunes but I couldnt get the latest qt without it? Why is that, well I know why but still crap.

i've noticed it too. firefox? haven't bothered checking in ie yet.

quicktime is some of the worst crap apple has ever produced.

update to the latest player. I used to have that problem but not anymore since installing the new player.

Yeah i'm running version 7.03 and the problem persists.
At least iTunes works.
So is everyone else here on Mac OS?
