PostScript Type 1 vs. Bitmap

  So I am organizing my fonts and have many duplicates of PST1 and Bitmap.

  I know the differences in PS and BM, but which is kinda the standard for using? Is it simply user preference?

  Any ideas and input would be great!

  You need both the printer/outline and bitmap files for a PostScript font to work.

  Perhaps you're thinking about the difference between PS and TrueType?
