Yeah, i changed my name to flagellum because I didn't want to upset mrdobs anymore.
If Robertson is some sort of representative of Christian faith, then why would every Christian I know take issue with the things he says and deny that he represents them?

Maybe that's why Christ said that his true followers would be known by their love and their deeds.

absolutely, as far as I'm concerned if there is a God. No one has him in their back-pocket as most groups think they do.
what a joke

Matthew 7:15-23:
"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'"

are you trying to convince us that robertson is not a man of christ?
I mean, I think we already know that.
Maybe your goal should be to convince HIS followers this?

aw, seems a little unfair...why not, like, a limited time trial - they could do a kind of course to learn stuff properly, then be on some sort of parole, with appraisals and that, regularly.
I bet a few of them would do alright that way, rather than just 'no - you fucked up, get out'.
Jesus needs a better PR agent, after all, Im sure they're on to Heaven 2.0 now, with its new 'user' driven applications and service-driven philosophies, rather than outdated models like sin-per-click, and that.

The problem is that there people who think they are his PR agents.
I think they are reading from 1 Hezitations Ch. 728, or maybe it was II Illusions... not sure which.

I think it is crazy that his organization has so much money that they can put 50 million into the proposed project.

He hasn't really ever said anything that's not in keeping with mainstream evangelical Christian thought/theology, it's the judgemental way he's saying it that pisses people off.
