its a great place, but july is out of season for a lot of the sports (kloofing, kayaking ect) and diving ect...
it can gert a little chilly too.
still be top fun though, you'd find something to do i think.

july is the middle of winter, but you might get a mild/hot spell of weather, or... worst case scenario it rains non-stop for a week. :)

if you're looking for a sunny cape town, you'll most likely be disappointed.

BTW, download Google Earth. Search for Cape Town. Wrap around the Peninsula and various Bays. You'll get a feel for how it's shaped and then do some research on those various areas.
