I couldn't believe you can get disability checks for alcoholism. I am sure that just encourages some people to drink more.

fullerc, haha.
Your right about Jessica's dad but he really seemed to have his life much more together and hid his drinking well.
I guess he is a functioning alcoholic. They seemed to be pretty well off.

(Jan 12 06, 09:09)Granted an house like that here on the west coast would cost you $600K and in Kentucky it's only about $100K.

Was just thinking about Cody's into to his DEATH song that he played at the Christian Club...I was watching the show with my roommate and had to look over at him and confirm "yes, this is what is being said...yes he is serious...yes he just let out his entire life story in 8 seconds...yes all the christian kids watching the show thinks this is a step of courage"/// unbelievable.

haha, yeah it was a cool design though.
That show also made me realize how I take for granted being a working professional living in a metro area.

I was talking about this last night and we decided that even know it was a little boring it was much better than Laguna beach.

the film took place around david, kentuky... and martin, kentuky. in the middle of no where if you look on a map.
its seriously intriquing how many pockets of country and poverty are here in the US. it makes you want to get out there and meet some of these people.
watching the film was pretty drawn out, but it spanned what, 5 years or something? thats a lot to cover.
chris was frustrating a lot of times. it was like, come on buddy step it up a bit. you got all these people trying really hard for you.
also, jay was an awesome friend for chris. had a good heart.
cody was a pretty smart kid considering his position there. and he really needed to move his lips more when he talked. almost needed closed captioning to understand him.
overall great film. good to bring awareness of situations and conditions outside of our own world.
