Just got a nice little site design job. home page, 5 main navs, and probably another 4-5 pages under these. There'll be some basic 3rd party booking services to bolt into it, just copy and paste, no server intergration. And the whole site build in php, no intense scripting, luckerly the 3rd party booking takes care of that.
Clients happy to fly me up north (australia) to go over the final build etc, take a few days off holidaying in the sunny north resorts.
Just want to know how much I should charge.
My estimates are 2-4 hours for concepts, 1 or 2 revisions / added direction, then another day to build the framework; all graphics, buttons, css, forms etc. 1 day to do build, half day testing and 3-4 hours final revisions before live.
I know what to charge normally apart from the fact that he's offered to give a free holiday for me and my wife for the weekend.
He's looked at other studios but is going to use me nonetheless.

sounds like you have it sorted to a week's worth of work. what do you want to make a week?
by the way, 2-4 hours for concepts sounds crazy low. an hour or two a piece?

looks like you are underestimationg your client.
always over estimate. you don't know who you are facing. he can be demanding.
yah 2-4 hrs for concept is really low. also 3-4hrs for final revisions? that's low too.

cheers all,
Yeah I think you're right. This one seems pretty straight forward, but as he's in another state there are definitely going to be unknowns that I haven't allowed for.
Also ta for encouraging me to bump up the concept and revision hours, as above, shouldn't underestimate the client.
Also he did say happy to work on a price give or take 500 compared to local quotes.
That probably means I should aim a little higher.
