i just got it fixed at home. for the past month or so, it was getting slower and slower.
now it's screaming fast! more postings at nt!!

did you ever see that at best buy and other electronics stores, you can buy cable modems...
Why would you do this?
It is included with the service and is useless without service.

My provider charges $5 extra a month extra unless you have your own.

Cuz you can buy one for 25 buck and the cable company charges 60.

I have Roadrunner and don't pay for my modem. Didn't know people had to pay for theirs.

On my bill they charged like $6/month. They'll refund fund it if you get your own though.

mine has been slowing down considerably lately, but only thru the wireless router. If I reboot it, it is all good again. I have three layers of security and run airsnare from time to time. Aint nobody robbing my bandwidth, bi-i-i-i-iatch!
