i bought my new vw jetta w/ a manual transmission 1.5 yrs ago. i had only driven manual once before that. i embarassed the hell out of myself stalling my brand new car 20 times as i tried to leave the dealership, but now 1.5 yrs later, i freakin' love it and i will never buy an automatic again. take the plunge. :)

s-plan is friends and family and is about 3% below dealer cost. So if you know anyone that works at ford, just ask them. Most will do it, at least thats what i found.
