sorry, it just seems like a lot of sites you used to see about 5 years ago...
doesn't really grab my attention or make me want to click on the thumbnails.
The page design needs to either to be simpler or go a bit further.

yeah it has a very dated 'feel' about it, if there isnt that much work then go for a simple one pager, if your work is strong keep your folio real simple, if however you feel your work is weak in areas then give your folio a few bells and whisltes to mask the fact!

agreed looks dated:
lose the cut off egdges and mystery meat nav.
increase everything in size.
work to a grid.
one thing you have going for you is its easy to view you work quickly.
