San Fran happenings?

  I'm going to do a little geeking out in for MacWorld Expo in SF next week, hanging out Jan 11-16.

  Does anyone in NT Land have recommendations on cool things to see/do/hear? (Don't need the standard tourist crap ... used to live there.)

  Plenty on my list already, but it never hurts to check with the locals.
