FFF is interested in buy my pixel font, and they are asking how much I want to sell it for. What do you think is a good price? And is there anything specific I should be asking them?

no matter what get royalties or a percentage of each sale, def not a one time sale

If you want it to sell well, look at their other fonts and price accordingly. It's amazing how many customers (read: NT peeps) will base their purchase on price.

I was thinking royalties too, and I asked them about it, but they said that they don't do that.
I was aiming for around $1200 for the design and they sell fonts for $20 a pop.

Do the Math and ask them what they want to pay you. Contacting former sellers might be smart too.

That's a good point.

don't they list out whom has designed for them. call them on the phone

If you're confident about your design don't do a one-time sale. Sell through MyFonts or another foundry and get your due royalties.

Good points.
I should also mention that this is a pixel font I am talking about.
I'll do some more research before I contact FFF again.

Trust me dude, FFF doesn't want you to know about that option. Typographica is right, licensing would be the way to go, you'd make more and be able to hold on to it.

sorry about typographica, didn't see you had responded in the last fm thread
