Hi people, I have been working on a logo that last couple of days, I have taken it in a new direction and I would just like some feedback as to which you guys and galls prefer:

Personally, the 1st one - if you can bring out the line in the 'off a' to make it a bit more a-like.
1st one seems more original than the others, which although ok, seem a bit generic. What happened to your old one?

- a couple of people have mentioned that but I am not 100% sure what you mean? The symbol I illustrated from the power off button on my Mac, I think if I bring the line out too much then it will look less like it should.
Which old version? You will be sorry you asked but here are all the versions I have:

Don't like the block around the button icon.
if I had to go for one I would say no. 2 but loose the block.
Possibly incorporate the button icon with the text?

it's quite clear that it's a power switch, even at that angle. It's not wholly clear that it's an 'a'.
I think you can probably eke out the length of the seperated straight line to compensate, or alter the position slightly, bringing it down and right.
It is more important for it to be clearly an 'a' than a switch, as the latter is inferred from the point you begin reading.
It's your logo - it's Apple's switch.

one other thing - does the weight of the off switch match that of the other letters? the Os in particular?

personally i think the power button symbol as a logo is a bit played!
as well as the original rm logo you had. I feel like ive seen that done a hundred times b4. Sorry.
i think it'd be nicer with just the type. Clean and simple.

Any reason I am being so anal is because its my own cash and I wanna get it right. Gonna be getting some brochures done later this month.
Anyway, I know that q think will come back to haunt me, I really like the look of the new style:

Firstly, Mac computers aren't the only ones to use that symbol, my generic monitor has a variation on it too -- and the 1 part sticks clear out of the circle.
Secondly, turn the on/off into the E in REBOOT It's rather obvious, isn't it?
Thirdly, yes it's a bit already-been-done, but go for it.

Thanks... tried the symbol on the e but I dind't like it, I'm quite happy with the icon being seperate.
Also, I would like to get the line:
web design | e-marketing | hosting
in there somewhere, I thought it looked ok on the front.
