in 2001 i had 10 grand on my discover card. (i was let go from my job when dot com went dot bomb).
earlier in the year i finally paid it off in full.
when i was laid off i called them at least 3 x asking for my % rate to be lowered. even begged to let a payment go by while i scraped up some money. nothing.
so i call over the summer ot cancel. i FOUGHT for 45 minutes trying to get her to cancel the card.
10%.
'no thanks, cancel please'
7%
'nope'
5%
'no now CANCEL the card'
3%
'NO! i'm cancelling out of spite! cancel the card'this went on for 45 minutes. i was floored at how they SO cared for me now but didn't give two shits when they had me by the balls.
in the end they offered me 0% for 2 years and i still told them to fuck off. spite can be a strange thing.
i talked to 4 different people (they kept transfering me higher up the chain) until i reamed the head honcho of whatever and tore him a new asshole.
he dumped me back down to the main lady again and then she was completely rude. fuck that.
never again will i deal with discover.

nah it was my buddy's bad business practices and they thought I was in on it and went as far as saying some of the thing he has was my property. It wasn't. I was visiting them for my birthday. So far, I've paid near $3,500 in legal fees to get out of this mess and have had to travel to NJ twice in the last three months.
ugghhh :(

- ********0
no I wish, I would have done it before the cop pulled him over and I would have flown away, deep into the NYC skyline merging with the moonlight.

I'm not too happy right now, but have a good attitude about it. Would like to smash these old friends heads in... dummies. 'Let them eat cake in jail' for all I care at this point in time.
I think they said something about buying out the kOna doll market as well, so you better hurry... jerks!
:O

The only positive spin I can muster about 05 - a wretched fucking year if there ever was one - is that it sure was better than 04.
With that said, cheers to Dobs and Seff - two of the coolest on here day in and day out, and to all the other people of NT I've been fortunate to make friends with.
Hopefully everybody has(d) a safe, happy and healthy holidays.

yeah 2005 was fast.
it was just waking up to work, getting to know the working life, a lot of stress, a bit of partying, growing my hair out and sleeping.
