PS and number of fonts(PC)?

  I am installing new fonts in the fonts-directory, but the fonts don't appear in Photoshop CS!

  I have restarted both the app and the computer...no help.

  Any ideas how to fix this???

  there is a correct way to install fonts, simply dragging them into the folder is not always a guarantee.

  either use the install font function in that folder of a font navigation package such as bitstream by corel to install your fonts properly

  if you are installing fonts yo downloaded for free sometimes they are listed under a different name than the file name or your fonts are just damaged i currently have 857 fonts installed and thats entirely too many but i can still see and use them all in my applications
