I got one of these as a xmas gift this year and I have to say that its pretty cool.
It may take a little longer and be a little on the loud side, but it's worth it and actually does a decent job.
Anyone else use one of these?
And I don't mean Woomba...

Got one for my mother in law when she was doing chemo...she is old school German, so "no thanks" was her answer. We just started using it recently. More of a novelty than a cleaning device. Good for under beds, but gets hung up on throw rugs and cords.
But it is priceless to see my kids run screaming as it enters the room..."the robots comin!...run..."

my buddy has one. it's pretty cool.
i've only seen it work once and it was a bit loud, but i was impressed at how it moved around the furniture.

Hahaha! I created a bunch of ads and mailer pieces for these guys. What a nightmare that was. It always freks me out to run into it.

I got one last year and absolutely love it. We have hardwood floors at our place so we get hair boogers/dust bunnies much faster than when you have carpet. or at least it seems that it happens twice as fast because you can see it.
I run it like 2-3 times a week and it saves me SO much time.

Apparently they are very hackable. A friend at Time who just sold them a bunch of ad space got turned onto to this lunacy.

only bad thing about the roomba is that it doesnt pick up the kitty hair all that well
