so ive bought one of those hipflask-ish sized bottles of vodka, and some honey, and a blender.
how many teaspoons of honey will be needed to give that vodka a very sweet kick (eg eradicating any vodka taste whatseoever)

i don't think you need to blend it. My papa makes flavored vodka and he usually lets the additional ingredients 'steep' in it for a few hours.

Trader Joe's usually has some good russian vodka for like $10 a bottle.
btw, my papa made cerrano pepper vodka and it was very dry-y. like when you eat spinach and it makes your teeth dry and chalky.
