I have coworker who was working in MX. Not 2004. We recently updated to 8. She, and not the smartest move imho, saved up all her files into 8 from MX and they are having serious issues. Type missing, etc.
Anyone know of any issues regarding this?
I told her to stick with continuing to update MX files in MX and stay away from 8.
thanks

I agree. First off I would have done a test drive of my MX files first in 8 before I went posting them online to a client. Bad idea. I ran into some issues in the jump from Flash 5 to MX 2004 back in the day but have yet to see anything outstanding with the MX to 8 jump.

you can't "save as" mx2004?

I still think it's as simple as a Flash 8 plugin issue. Some type is not showing up on the homepage and once the viewer is updated I think it will be resolved.
