I can understand why he chose not to commercialise calvin and hobbes, but it has always pissed me off that I could never get calvin posters...cos I would pay any money at all to have most of the snowmen strips blown up to poster size and framed....

I've been flipping threw these books for a few weeks now and I have not found one example of Calvin pissing on a chevy or ford logo.

calvin represents everything a designer should be! The creative, not very academic and quite naughty child in us all. Hobbes is the creative director trying to control the fun and be 'sensible'
I miss those books, I've got lots of the softback colour books and one book where bill watterson talks you through his original drawings for the sunday paper spreads, it's great! What's this big, hard back book that's been mentioned?

cheers Jevad.
It's £59.50 on amazon.co.uk which is amazing value! I've got a lot of the books within the boxed set but it's definitely worth it for the price and the chance to have them all in one place (and look good on the old bookcase!)
awesome
