does anyone know the PMS equivalents for louis vuitton's brown and multicolore monogram bags?

nope. i dont work with pantones. i work directly with makers and tanneries. i would purchase the bag and send it to the factory for colour reference if that is what i am referencing for. sorry i cant help. could you take a pantone fane to a LV bag or goto a store with one.

MLP the quality in deciding if a bag is real or fake is not from the colour of the screen print or the colour of the tanned leather.
a fake bag will be constructed differently. in production there is always a set number of bad dupes or crap copies. these sets are sold to cheaper manufacturers and then knocked off. a design is so simple, but the rights to certain shapes are held in the LV house of design. in my trips overseas to China factories i have seen so many knock offs from so many european design houses that master eyes can not tell the differences.
also remember there is a differnt PMS colour to the Textile Pantone. also are you asking a pantone for leather or pvc/ vinyl? there is a big difference. or are you asking for the brown colour of a screen print?

and e-piill, yes i know that PMS for offset isn't the same, but was trying to find similar or conversions/equivalents.
i'm doing a piece that's influenced by spending culture and want to use those recognizable colors.

i think if you chose close enough colours with the LV logo somewhere in the image you will have no problem selling the idea to your client. to my knowledge there isnt a set PMS colour that LV uses.

I recently did some work for LV's distribution center.
4625 C -brown
7402 C -tan
we had to end up tweaking the tan color at press. i think we bumped the yellow
is what i used.

no. just the brown and tan, and the purple which i think is only related to their returns department.
