If God exists, then by default He is and does more than our rational minds will allow us to believe or understand.
Penn/Teller's openning statement sums it up very well. It takes faith!
But you can't believe that God exists and then say "God could/would/should never do that". Are you God?
(I know many of you will answer a deffinative "YES" to that retorical question)

Penn said that " (The Bible) Has no plot", yet he is basing the whole program on facts.
The fact is that there is a plot that few discover or even accept because of humanistic pride.
Penn does match the arrogance and delivery of the TV evangelist superbly; And both make rub me the wrong way.
Good show to stir up debate though.

Well said, Prev.
My own stance is that the universe is grander in scheme than our little rational minds can accept, so there will always be the unquantifiable unknowable which will be attributed to a 'God' by those who are apt.
I'm more comfortable just admitting "I don't know".

I agree that there is plenty we do not know and will never know, what with our tiny little finite brains. We can only comprehend so much, but there are certain things we can apprehend. The first question that the honest seeker should ask is: Is there a God? But, the second and equally important question is: Has this God revealed himself to humanity?
I, personally, believe the answer is "yes" to both questions. We can know what God has chosen to reveal to us, about himself.

Penn and Teller have a better schtick than you do, Discipler?

They definitely have a schtick: shock value + minsinformation.
