i havent used a webcam for like 5 yrs and it was on a pc ... just ran out and bought a generic logitech webcam for like 35 $ and its not working in my powerbook ... do i have to buy a webcam from the apple store for like 70$ or will some of the cheap generics work ... any thoughts ?

Some Logitech cams have Mac drivers, some dont. You just hav e to read the specs. I got a Logitech CommunicatPro or something, had to switch it for a Logitech 4000
