  anybody know anything about 'AsBroadcast', I'm trying to listen to a mouse event on an _mc and the c**t aint complying with my request.

  Cheers, but I get all that. I'm trying to broadcast the events from a MovieClip. It's all pretty rudimentary with components but it's the _mcs that are giving me gip.
