If he's really trying to set an example to children that crime doesn't pay and that being in a gang is wrong ect, then he should gladly welcome his execution, make the ultimate sacrifice to save others.

he's repented.
he's helped other gang members find their way.save tookie.

well i am just terrified of the idea that we legally justify our killings by killing a killer.
we will all be beasts again.
but without me please.

(Dec 10 05, 19:52)I completely agree.

This reminds me of the Liberals wanting to ban handguns in Canada right now, because the whole thing revolves around crime and life.

Has he ever tried to appologize to his victims family members? All this talk about doing good deeds but has he ever ask for forgivemess? Seems like he's still denying his sins now.
Today he's Seeking Stay of Execution. His defense is blaming the witnesses as being Criminals and had incentives to blame him. I guess it takes one to know one.

(Dec 11 05, 07:25)that's because he knew he would be executed and that was his only option! I believe in forgiving people but he's a killer and needs to be punished! No one saved his victims?
Did anyone try to save his victims? He robbed them for less then $200! it's cold blooded murder! Now he gets a taste of his own medicine.

" he's repented "
unfortunately this is unture. he still claims innocence in the face of over whelming evidence. ...in two seperate cases i might add...

I support the death penalty when and only if the person in question:
Has been proven beyond a doubt that he is a danger or poses a high risk to repeat his crime or his crimes are so great that they have irreparably defiled his being.
Killing a man is wrong - but NOT killing someone who has a likely chance of harming others is also wrong.
As for Tookie, I leave that to the Governor.
