Dulcinea's 100th Monkey.

most would say purple martini, but its a little (a lot) trendy.
for a chill place to grab a pint, my brother's bar or pints pub. great but pricey restaurants: panzano's, the 4th story.
for a true piece of americana grab a drink and dinner at the buckhorn exchange. this is not a place for vegetarians ;)

sputzie is throwing a party for some dork named JazX. You're invited. Feel free to bring your dog. She's got plenty of PB.

yeah, we're throwing a party for ya, it's your outing party right? remember when you told me you needed some help coming out of the closet? i think it was after i told you that dog/PB story and you had NO reaction, causing you to question your sexuality.
heehee ;)

have any of you ghey guys been to Cafe Berlin?

i haven't but its on my list. i heard they had to move but still have the same menu and atmosphere.
friends of mine rave about it, so i'll have to see.
have you been there parkah?

Depends on what you are looking for. Since I am no longer a youngun (well, haven't been for a while), I prefer avoiding the 18+ fake id crowd.
Forest Room 5 is pretty nice.
Mead Street has great sandwiches, regular bar atmosphere. There are a few decent places around there (across the street is Swim Club, Coral Room is up the street).
Wynkoop Brewery is a decent place for a (very) large pool/brewery.There's lots of places. If you have a car or not and where you are staying is a big one. I avoid Lodo usually because of the hassle with parking, but if you are in downtown, then that's easy.

Don't ask me - I hate trendy bars and restaurants and most of the fakes and hipsters in them....

haven't been to cafe berlin... but thought it might be cool being that i really dig german beer.
and i'm not looking for hipster bars... a good irish type pub is my style.
- jevad0
irish type pub you say?
Well there's the Snug on colfax...Pints pub on 13th and Lincoln is sweet...but more of a british pub...best scotch selection in america.
Cafe berin is...ok. Food is not bad...not an amazing beer selection considering they are a german restaurant...
Fodo's Irish Pub downtown by the ballpark is good too....

Denver was voted the drunkest city in the union last year.

oh ya, boozatoriums.
Club 404 Lounge (that's not a type-o. it's both.)
for an irish pub place, look up irish in the phone book under rest/bars. (we are not very creative) go to the one on colfax.
While you are on colfax, go to "lounge" it's like drinking in your grandma's living room with 50 other people.
Then work your way back down Colfax to the Nobhill Inn. Just kidding, DO NOT go to the Nobhill Inn. Seriously. That is the only bar in denver (save anywhere in commerce city) that i will not go inside.

(Dec 8 05, 12:53)ya, i don't have a link, but i think it was based on alcohol sales/bars/breweries per capita.

OK if you go to Forrest Room 5 do not eat the food.
For a truly unique experience go to DOMO - it is country japanese food, it is incredible.
Grab a drink at the Cruise Room in the Oxford hotel.
Head down to the Garage, have some cheeze puffs and drink some PBR out of the vending machine.
Go clubbing at the Church.
Have Coconut Tiger Prawns at Coral Room.
Have a pint and throw some darts at Patrick Carrols.
Watch football on sunday at the Uptown Tavern - while you are there play some mini bowling.
Have dinner at Table 6.
