Best Show - Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra. So much energy you'll be running in place the entire time.
sumguay
(Dec 7 05, 12:12)that was my favorite show of last year... saw them at an outdoor show... best vibe ever. Saw them again at a crowded bar with low ceilings and bad sound. Should have stayed in bed.

Depeche Mode 101 was pretty spectacular but so was Pink Floyd's Division Bell

where the hell is that?

Go ahead and name the spot. Not too picky as long as it has good music and beer.
I like the Cambridgeport on Mass Ave near Central. Real DIVE, but good tunes and cheap beer.

naked city - reunion amsterdam 2004
and u2 was really great too. maybe not so much for the actual music, but it's so friggin unbelievable what music can do to 60.000 people..

"Flaming Lips, Soft Bulletin Tour"
I saw that on E. they gave everyone headphones to listen to the concert while broadcasting on a low Frequency.
I've seen them a handfull of time since and it's the same show over and over again, it's getting old.
