Anyone watching this prog? Some amazing stuff - last week with the Mayflies - that was incredible...2 hours to find a mate before they nosedive into the water...!

i'll check it out, definitely. nothing better than a d.a. nature show. although i am terrified of spiders.
*starts jumping around in chair, scratching at neck, etc.

...but spiders kill flies and that can only be good!
I think the main reason people are scared of spiders is because of the way they move - kinda unnatural.
I got this article on spiders under the influence of different drugs - caffine, marijuana, cocaine etc. and it has all the web making results - quite interesting. Marijuana produced some really artistic webs!

oh, i saw that, too. with all the crazy webs. caffeine was (oddly) the worst, if i recall correctly.
i'm scared of spiders cos i grew up in a place where if they bit you, you died. it's slightly more irrational for british people to be scared of them.

Those webs all look like a bunch spider webs to me...no discernible drug inspired web patterns at all
