What an amazingly bad idea for a product. Not only does it use two ipods, forcing you to plan out the playlists on each machine separately, it doesn't even pitch shift (change the tempo) of the beats for you. So essentially, it's iTunes (free download), in hardware format. Yours for only $249.99, plus you need two ipods to run it. lol

yea, I work with a lot of dj's in my corner of the world , who laugh at CD mixers , now this ...but hey talk to me 5 years from now

strictly vinyl when I mix

Don't get me wrong...I'm a DJ and totally in favor of digital mixing...just not sure if this is the right route. It seems like a hugely inefficient way to mix given the fact that with one computer and a MIDI controller I can do all the same stuff and more.

I've seen documentaries about DJ's who use iPods and love it. I guess they have an actual product for them now. Interesting...but I still think it's weird for Apple to be the only thing used in the media now...maybe I'm just not used to it. Or maybe it's because I prefer PCs.

or you could just call my dj service....i plug in my ipod, hit play and drink the rest of the night.
It's the latest in nightlife entertainment.

well..
I have nerver heard a dj mixing with ipods, but I'm sure it will take a long time, before it gets accepted among Djs.and when I say Djs. I mean people that mix music, gone are the days of "if you spin vinyl, you are better than the one that uses a laptop" crowds care about the music, and most of them don't even know what is going on in the booth.
