If there is how?
And if there is not what tricks do you have for alligning angled grids in those programs?Thanks

if you turn on smart guides, when you are drawing a path it will snap to 45, but thats the only trick i know

draw a 45ยบ line, select it, and go view > make guides.

make a line with what? the pen tool?
this isn't working for me.

Yes with the pen tool. Click to make a dot, then while holding shift click up/down at a 45 degree angle and by holding shift it will make the line at a perfect 45 degree angle. THEN go to VIEW down to GUIDES and then over to MAKE GUIDES.

drag a guid out onto the artboard and press option + apple + ;
That will make the guides selectable. Then select it with your mouse and press "r" for rotate and the crosshairs will showup in the middle of the line. Then start draging and of course hold shift for the hard angles.
Enjoy.

Just create a customized, locked layer underneath everything. It won't snap to, but you can create your grids to any angle/spacing you want. You can then bring this layer into all of your other Adobe apps if needed to work in multiple apps.

umm... you've been able to angle guides since like AI 5 and possibly even earlier.
drag out new guide, right click and select unlock guides... select the guide you want angled... use rotate tool to rotate to the angle you want... choose lock guides.
