With Firefox 1.5 looking, and behaving better than ever, it's hard to for me to stay with Safari.
Can anyone share their experience merging from Safari to Firefox? What are some key caveats/benefits?

you can customize the hell out of the code on Firefox...
... but there's plenty of holes in firefox that are now just being attacked - due to the new popularity of Firefox.
I'd ditch safari all together... why bother with a browser only a low majority of people use? Sites consistently look shitty on it (imho)... 'standards' don't exist - I don't care what anyone says.

I just don't know

the question i asked myself was 'what do i want in a browser?'. i personally like keeping things visually fresh. also extensions are handy. with the new release of firefox the flash issue seems to be resolved. safari is solid but it is not frequently updated while seemingly the entiire world is working on firefox. at this point the pros of switching outweight the cons.

the key benefit is that firefox doesn't eat a bag of fat dicks

I was just looking to hear other's opinion, afterall.
That being said, I'm using Firefox for the rest of this week to see how it goes.

safari is for old farts eating fermented peas.

old fart #1.
I tried the switch, and I didn't notice that much of a difference. I didn't bother with the plugins, extentions, and all that jazz. Too PC for me i guess. I do use it on my PC cause IE blows, but I never had any issues with page loading, flash issues, etc with safari. I couldn't really see the point of adding another browser to the system.
just my 2 cents.

So did FF fix the flash problem. I started using Shiira (which I like) because I got tired of FF dieing everytime a big flash site opened.
