Brooke I'm sorry if you feel caught in the middle, but it should be made clear that - as always - I asked some sincere thought provoking questions this morning, and only became an asshole when your ex and Uberdesigner, as they do to everybody here (and every time my name is mentioned), attacked and ridiculed me for no reason. Of course I could respond more maturely, but I've never belittled anybody on here without proper provocation. I do appreciate that we've gotten to a point where we're cordial with each other, and I value the beautiful prints you sent me as highly as any artwork I own - truly - but if you don't approve of how I choose to deal with two guys who are jerks to everybody on NT (hell Carlos was already banned once for being a cock), then I'm really okay with that.

Winter, I respect your opinion, I just had high expectations of Panic Room because I like David Fincher so much (I think Seven and Fight Club are brilliant films), and thus I was disappointed with the choice of material.

(Dec 3 05, 12:56)In thinking about it further Peteski, I tend to agree with you. Just know that I meant to say Jewish afros and decided to abbreviate it out of laziness. I'm also half jewish so that should buy me some latitude, along with the fact that I'm obsessed with Garfunkle like hairstyles and spend way too much time studying them. Point taken though.
- uberdesigner0
jon turturro is italian not jewish.
- unterdesigner0
the two being mutually exclusive.
- kingjulien0
Yes, but in Barton Fink he plays a Jewish screenwriter. It's not unusual for Hollywood to cast a person of one ethnicity as another. Hell they used to dress white guys in blackface. Also, Deniro played a Jewish mobster in Casino.

let's make out

Ok. Maybe that's it. I had no expectations at all.
Just crossed my mind that it is probably more honest to watch or read something not knowing too much about it in the first place.
- kingjulien0
Perhaps, Winter, I should watch it again.
Just out of curiosity, what is it that makes you like it so much?
- brooke0
Eh, it was just a joke. But better to "ignore the insults of the ignorant" right? Just a thought.
I still love all of ewe.

The house itself.
And also the title sequence ;)
It's far from being the best movie I've ever seen, but it's not interely "bad". Just a nice movie i guess.
