voodoo gives me the hebegebees.

I have not seen it since I was a kid. It gets into voodoo in haiti, but is specifically about him trying to secure the zombie potion for a pharmicutical company... as I recall anyway. MMMM now I am thinking about another voodoo movie that lisa bonet gets naked in.. ANGELHEART, with deniro... thats it. Man, I need to concentrate.

re. serpent and the rainbow..
any good?
haven't seen or read it.
does it get into voodoo or is it just zombie stuff..?
- danthon0
yeah, I have a brugmanisa and was reminded by hearing an interview with the guy who the movie serpent and the rainbow is about. He lives here in victoria.

yeah, i'm aware of the dangers
i wouldn't have a use for it anyway

scarabin, they are related, but I would not reccomend experimenting. The toxins are extremely powerful and the smallest amount can induce irreversable coma.

i'm in zone 7 (i think) and need to make sure it's pet friendly. I was actually thinking of growing hops because MrMayo makes beer and I thought it would be fun to have a hops plant, but blaw let me know that schnauzers and hops plants don't mix :(
So i grabbed some thornless blackberries a few weeks ago but i don't think i'll plant them, just keep them in containers because they can be invasive and they are really ugly bushes.

brugs are related to datura, right? i have some datura but never made anything like that...
i have this old book that has recipes for a powder used to make zombies by using blowfish neurotoxins delivered in a base of tarantula hairs that scratch into the skin to get the chemicals into the blood
interesting stuff

Thats awesome scarabin, let me know if you master the brugmansia zombie potion.

horton, do you have any evergreen shrubs that don't look piney? i'm thinking of boxwoods but don't know how much work they are to maintain.

ha ha, sorry
seriously though, i love plants
i've been studying psychoactive plants in particular for a long time now and have always collected books on the magickal (symbolic) properties and uses of plants.
i make incense out of blends of herbs, roots, and resins tailored for a certain purpose... for personal use and for gifts

I was a member of the Victoria orchid society in my mislead youth. Now that I am in a suitable location again, I am restarting my collection.
