Can anyone help me learn FLASH? What is the easiest way to get a good grip on the program? Does anyone have some advice?

Learn urslef. Thats what I did. There's a ton of sites with plenty of tutes:
kirupa.com
actionscript.org
flashkit.com
ultrashock.comLearn the tools.
Learn how to animate on the timeline.
Master all of the basics first.
and then learn how to do actionscript. The main thing is: Make your own projects, just so you have practice, even if its something stupid like animating a family pic. Practice makes perfect.
Its a really fun program to use, and once you get into it, you'll want to use it all of the time.

Yep just did in...spend many, many hours designing and refining and then animating...that's the best way really...

i picked up the book from macromedia press and worked through the projects.
It is 15 or 20 flash projects, that start simple and work up to more complex stuff.
The best way to not end up a 'hack' is to get a good understanding of the fundamentals, before you start messing with other people's code.TR1

Or just not learn Flash...Personally, I hate the program. Its cool and all, but animation just ain't my bag.

Find a girl who only speaks AS 2.0 and romance the hell out of her.

what davi-t said. work through tutes on kirupa, etc. If you just start on your own, you may not learn the best methods. good luck
