swf into AfterEffects

  I remember when I used to use AE that when I imported a swf file it would give me an option to import it with a transparent background - matted or something?

  Now I have gone back to AE after a year or two and can't get it to give me that option...what am I doing wrong?

  I'm using AE 5.5 btw....thanks in advance.
