The invitation from Frederick the Great took the form of an equation.... P/V a 6/100? transliterating as "vais souper a Sans Souci?".
Voltaire's reply was "Ga" equivalating to "J'ai grand appetit".

The ancient Egyptians recommended mixing half an onion with beer foam as a way of warding off death.

Voltaire's candide is a Manichean exploration of pre-treaty of Westphalia era Europe.

(Nov 30 05, 05:50)pah, they did that in face off years ago.

heh, Oscar Mayer's a new discovery for me - I always imagined it to be awful.. but by bloody hell it's good when it's crispy.
Turn the Breville on, wait 'til it's hot, slap the bacon in - within 2 minutes you 're in porcine heaven.
- and this is me trying to eat healthily - to bulk up a little in time for skiing.. ha ha...
*clutches heart, keels over..
- kelpie0
yeah, that wasn't a stunt either.
So.
Voltaire Vs Woo. Who rocks the hardest?

re: faces..
"The transplant would have to come from a beating heart donor. So, say your sister was in intensive care, you would have to agree to allow their face to be removed before the ventilator was switched off.
"And there is the possibility that the donor would then carry on breathing."
What a bad trip that'd be to wake up to..
- KuzII0
filthy pig munchers!
- rasko40
what if the donor was a devout muslim woman, would the recipient then have to wear a burkha after the transplant?
this rather existential question brings with it issues of soul and ownership of the mere vessel, if ones soul is religious then surely a head, an arm or a face are merely religious by inheritance, which then urges the question 'why is the burkha relavant at all?"
daft eh?
