I'm running out of space, and while I really need to upgrade, I want to try to trash as much as I can.
Does anyone know if there are some hidden larger files on my PowerBook that I can get rid of?
Or even some programs...like what the hell is ABBYY FineReader? Or Adobe VersionCue? Omni Graffle? Omni Outliner? I have no clue what any of those do.
Or how about some Utilities? Or Library files?
I obviously don't want to throw out something important, but I'm sure there are tons of things I don't use. Anyone know?

download and use DeLocalizer
http://www.macupdate.com/info.ph…it will delete all the language files except English, ~200MB total freed space.

you can also trash the Omni stuff, they are trials, and if you don't use them, trash them.
also, Adobe gives you some free clip art and samples that take up some space. look in the Photoshop application folder. in the folder called Samples, you can delete those files and save at least 60MB there.

does it automatically trash all but english, this delocalizer? or can you customize it to leave english, spanish, german, etc. and only trash the ones you don't use?

if you have i-dvd or i-movie loaded, go look in the application library for their support files. get rid of the dvd menu movies you will never use, like the baby or wedding ones or whatever, and then get rid of the i-movie tutorials and crap. you can get around 1-4 gigs free depending on what you want to give up.
i always make my own dvd menus anyway, an you should too. so - trash the presets maaaan.

if you want to remove *selected* languages and keep others, use Monolingual instead:
