anyone got an idea why my mac would turn into an airconditioner?
Just tried to burn a dvd for the 1st time. It said the process was complete but for some reason ... wouldnt finish the process... couldnt force quit... eventually after 10 mins the cd ejects - incomplete. and from what sounded like all the fans switched on... shut it down from the menu.. but the fans stayed running... just had to mannually cut it off from the mains to shut it down completly.. is it fucked up? should I put my beer in there now or what

This sometimes happens when it thinks it is far too hot, my laptop did this for a period of time when it wasn't very hot, then like the wind changed it's mind and stopped doing it.
However what you suggested sounds very scary I would recommend you speak to a pro. then after you have had sex talk to a tech.

I've heard the new imac fans are very loud and run hot.

think it maybe triigered because I was fucking with its head ( trying to end that dvd process, since it was taking far to long for my patients to complete). it burned in the end anyway. - and I just reset the SMU to make sure. spoke to a pro from apple. didnt get laid though. she wanted a 3 year plan out of me... expensive lady. -
