lots. i have a 15 and went from 512 to 1.25. i feel like an idiot for waiting so long. its like the machine is beginning to work like its supposed to.
please dont say you ordered a ram stick from apple. i bought my 1gig stick from http://carbonation.com and they charged me $245. apple at the time of purchase was charging $800 for the same ram... mac ram is usually samsung.
and yes... it makes a huge diff. once you get one, you gotta get another to push it to 2gigs. i'm about a week away from that.

i added from 256 to 768. it made a lot of difference on my super old pb.
but not fast enough to make me stop thinking about a new computer.

Don't stop there, i am running 2Gb Ram. PB's need a fair bit of Ram in order to work efficently.
Go for 2, go for 2, go for 2!!!

so, do you guys think this is compatible with the powerbook?
DDR PC2700 • CL=2.5 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR333 • 2.5V • 128Meg x 64
it sounds like a good deal, but I don't know how to check if it's compatible. here's where I found it:
