iMac and Motion 2

So I'm thinking of getting the new top of the line iMac -- 2.1 ghz, 1.5 gb ram, etc. Has anybody used this machine (or a similar iMac) with Motion 2? I'd like to be able to use them together, but Motion recommends 256 MB of video ram and the iMac only has 128...

It also might not work if you do not have one of the required video cards as in it will not install, I know my mini mac won't work it :(
check carefully before you buy you might be surprised to find it may not work....

the 128 should be fine will just be a little slower... mite not be as realtime as you would like im on a 1.5 ghz powerbook with 2 gigs ram and when u get up in the layers and effects in motion it slows down alot...

i have. it's pretty good but i haven't used any other G5 to compare it to. does the trick though

i tested it on a Rev B iMac G5 (1.8GHz, 64mb graphics card). I didn't do anything too intense though, just a few layers.
