okay I have had it with Media Player from M$ for OSX.
is there any other player out there, that will play the wmvs and avi's from my cameras?

I have a 3.6 PIV with a X850 XT and 2.5 gig of ram.
I USE a 17 inch powerbook, first gen 1 gigahertz to get work done.

Dude, VLC plays everything.

Theres a plug-in where you can play WMVs in Quicktime. It's called WMV Player

You can try it out, but it plays half your video. To play all of it you have to pay $10. It works, but so does MPLayer and VLC. Try out the plug-in, it's pretty cool.
