i have bought her several dior bags... she loves them
http://www.eluxury.com/browse/pr…
she loves the dior saddle bags i have also got her one of the boston bags in pink which i don't think they make anymore and one chanel bag and a couple of LVs
but then she loves juicy couture anything and adores anything hello kitty
i tell you i have got just as big of a response from buying her a dior or a chanel or LV as i have from buying her a $20 hello kitty purse at target
my wife loves purses and i have made her into a bit of a purse whore

jaz...those are mens brands not designer female handbag brands.
also the same for paul smith a mens brand wont create womens bags.

jaz offcourse the menswear designer will need 1-3 bags for the female demographic so the women who shop while the men work may just stop at a "paul smith" and purchase herself a female handbag and also something for her man from the rest of the men's collection.
a woman who wants a 'designer handbag' does not to my knowledge want a men's branded handbag even though people out there purchase them.
this is what i do for a living, i am a handbag designer. its my duty to understand my customer. when a customer who generally has a collection of Dior, Fendi, Channel, and LV wants a new bag a Ben Sherman or a Paul Smith is not part of the same conversation. as the woman that wants this bag wants to fit in a certain global trend where the men's market doesnt fit within.
they are good reconmendations but really do not design the shapes that are selling with the rest of the female market. the fabrications also do not relffect the female trends that are dominiant with the rest of the female only design houses.
GO TEAM HANDBAG!!!!

thats my point! paul smith does make women bags but its a strong male driven brand. i love paul smith suits!!!! i love going to see paul smith clothing because i can relate to the brrand identity. so then all th female bags i would notice as well.

my coach bags have held up remarkably well. i'll only wear the styles which don't have their logo plastered all over them.
tumi is the same:
http://www.tumi.com/womens/handb…they only have girly-girl bags in the spring...otherwise they tend to be more elegant/functional.
