Debating with a friend whether "It's Only Rock And Roll" or "Start Me Up" is better.
I say you start me up. He says the other. Who's right?

for me, both of these songs came after the golden era of the rolling stones, which ended with "let it bleed"
but I would agree with you

I'd say 'start me up' as well..
Listening to alot of Rolling Stones lately, with my fav album being Aftermath

While I agree with the prophet himself that the early Stones is clearly the best, I still get choked up over two underrated classics from the 80's:
Almost Hear You Sigh
Heaven

- ********0
is there a jammed out blues version wheree he's like yelling more stuff and at the end he says something like 'then i'll stick a knife down her throught'...paint it black sounds familiar but it was definatly a different version, like after he paints her black thats what he's going to do

please, 'gimme shelter' is one of the greatest songs of all-time.
also, underrated is 'anybody seen my baby?' from 'bridges to babylon'
