i'm trying to edit text in fireworks... the text formatting is doing crazy shit on it's own... basically it wraps to a new line after each word, ie. if i press space it wraps to the next line. wtf a gwan!? anyone knows what it might be... i can't see any options/settings that would make it do this.

i just edited some text in freehand to see if maybe it's a problem with the fonts, but it's fine in freehand.
now it's doing even crazier shit.
i select the text-box, change font and it re-formats everything like this:

did u paste that text in from word or somthing ??
sometimes i get shit like that in FW when pasting from random applications

no, it's just lipsum from a .txt file.

click inside the text box; click on the upper right corner (square open box); this will turn it into an open circle and unlock the constraint.
